Aptly named, the Timex Marlin Jet Automatic sports a retro-futuristic look inspired by the space age of the '60s. Its most striking detail is the domed Hesalite crystal that covers the grooved bezel and merges into the flat sides of the 38mm brushed stainless-steel case. A wheat-colored concave dial has a crosshair pattern, a date window at 3 o'clock, and sleek, silvery hands and indexes. The exhibition caseback mirrors the crystal's domed contour and allows for views of the automatic movement, at least when the black slip-thru double-layered woven perlon strap is removed.
