Recycled ocean-bound plastic sustainably produces this watch's case, dial, and band.
Anywhere from 15 to 51 trillion pieces of plastic end up in the world's oceans. To reduce this waste, Timex created the Legacy Ocean Plastic Watch. The 42mm case, dial, and bracelet are made from 100% ocean-bound plastic. The waste is collected by fishermen on the coast, then shredded and shipped to Switzerland via carbon-neutral transportation. There, it's repurposed into a sustainable material. White flecks from the recycling process give the all-black timepiece a unique texture and pattern. It's finished with luminant hand markers and a quartz movement with 30 meters of water resistance.
