Teenage Engineering packs a drum machine and sequencer with unlimited sounds into a pocketable size.
We've seen portable standalone drum machines before, but never one this versatile that actually fits in your pocket. Teenage Engineering's PO-32 drum synth is a surprisingly full-featured instrument that's about the size of a calculator. For the technical among us, it offers a sequencer with parameter locks, punch-in effects, and unlimited sounds with Microtonic VST. It also adds a built-in speaker, a microphone for data transfer, a 3.5mm audio I/O port, an animated LCD display showing characters drinking G&Ts, and a folding stand. Powered by two AAA batteries, it has a battery life of one month, with a standby time of two years.
