It's hard to beat a wood-fired pizza, but most pizza ovens are bulky, heavy, and thus pretty stationary. Ooni's Karu breaks this mold with a versatile design that weighs just over 25 pounds. It's made from brushed 430 stainless steel with ceramic fiber insulation that allows it to reach temps of up to 950ºF in just 15 minutes — hot enough to cook a pie in just 60 seconds. It can be powered by wood or charcoal, but also with gas via an optional accessory, and comes with an extra-thick baking stone capable of handling pizzas up to 12" in diameter. A custom-designed fuel tray maximizes airflow, and makes cleanup far simpler than a traditional pizza oven.
