Norse Projects uses a waterproof, windproof upper and Vibram outsole to build this rugged runner.
A lace-up closure alone doesn't offer shoes much in the way of protection from the elements. That's why Norse Projects covers them in this Zip-Up Runner. As the name suggests, the shoe's laces tuck away behind a diamond-structured ripstop nylon overlay with a Hydro Guard membrane for protection against water and wind, closed with a waterproof zip closure. The inner sock is a lightweight, soft neoprene, paired with a soft mesh lining for comfort, an OrthoLite insole for cushioning, and a TPU coating on the details. PU leather at the heel and toe adds stability and blends into a chunky wrap-around Vibram outsole built with the company's Megagrip compound for added traction and Litebase technology for decreased weight.
