Mughal emperor Shah Jahan commissioned the Taj Mahal to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Although the ivory and marble mausoleum took 20,000 artisans over a decade to construct, this LEGO version can be built in just a couple of hours. The 2,022-piece set replicates the architectural wonder from the dome, chhatris, and minarets to the crypt with the tombs of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan. The final piece measures over 9 inches wide and will be an impressive display piece for architectural and travel enthusiasts.
