A photo of the King of Rock and Roll captured backstage at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville.
In 1956, Elvis played two shows at Florida Theatre. His performance caused outrage among Jacksonville officials, even leading Judge Marion Gooding to prepare arrest warrants due to Presley's hip-gyrations and "impairing the morals of minors." In his framed photo, LIFE photographer Robert W. Kelley captured the King of Rock and Roll backstage during one of the shows. The image is printed on Fuji crystal archive paper, numbered and certified, and comes encased inside a hand-made solid wood white or black frame that's ready to hang. Limited edition of 495.
