Danner adapts its fly-fishing River Gripper boot for everyday life with the more casual Westslope.
Danner's Westslope boots are named after a Western native trout, which is fitting since they're based on the brand's River Gripper silhouette. Instead of fly-fishing, though, they're designed for casual wear, with a full-grain leather and 1000 Denier nylon upper that has small perforations for breathability and a Gore-Tex lining for protection against splashes and the occasional downpour. It sits atop a Danner Wedge outsole made from a soft polyurethane compound that provides all-day comfort and support on smooth indoor surfaces like concrete and wood.
