Drappier’s flagship offering, this exceptional champagne is packed with history and flavor.
The flagship offering from the Drappier Family Estate, this wine takes its name from a piece of land covered by the smoking remnants of a fire that devastated the town of Urville in 1836. Grande Sendrée is a grower: a designation reserved for more terroir-focused wines sourced from a single vineyard and is composed of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay. A complex and rich aroma bouquet begins the experience, followed by tasting notes that include strawberry jam, blood orange, honey, and almond. This exceptional champagne is bottled in a reproduction of an 18th-century bottle found in the Urville cellars.
