Located in the Grand Cru village of Chouilly, one of the best villages in the Champagne region, Vazart-Coquart cultivates 30 plots. Since 1954, 11 hectares have been set aside for Chardonnay, and this "grower" bottling is one of the most impressive to emerge from the unique terroir. Special Gourmet is a blend of multiple vintages with an average age of 10 years. Bottled in 2013, it's a perfect pairing with foie gras and is also a natural companion to fried or spicy foods.
