Editor’s Note

Originally launched in 1999, the New Balance 1000 is back to bring the retro vibes in this Incense Black colorway. The upper inverts the usual mesh upper and suede overlay design, with the former emerging from behind the latter. The segmented sole unit puts ABZORB cushioning at the heel and forefoot, connected by a Stability Web shank for stability. They're finished with embroidered details, reflective accents, and external nylon eyelets.
