To create a spirit imbued with this unique flavor, Johnnie Walker Master Blender Emma Walker teamed with Michelin-starred Chef Kei Kobayashi to create Blue Label Elusive Umami. Only one in 25,000 casks, so Walker and Kobayashi handpicked individual whiskies like they would ingredients to create the final blend. The result is a balance of sweet and savory flavors, with notes of blood oranges and red berries, sweet wood spice, a touch of smoked meat, a hint of salt and pepper, and a long, sweet, fruit finish.
