The Perfect Fifth specializes in curated single-cask releases of Scotch whiskies. This 31-Year-Old example of Highland Park is a perfect example. On the nose, it gives off scents of tropical fruits, heather honey, mead, and cider, while the flavors include sweet blood oranges, honey, mead, and smoke. Distilled in 1987 and bottled in 2019, it was matured in first-fill sherry Cask No. 1531, which yielded 185 bottles measuring a stout 47.1% ABV. Arrives in custom barrel packaging.
