When the Quartz movement took the world of horology by storm, American heritage brands like Timex had to adjust. And by the time they released the original Q Timex in 1979, their embrace of the format was complete. Almost an exact reproduction of the original, this reissue is a great reminder of the era, featuring a black dial with a day/date window, lumed indices, and Mercedes-style hands, as well as a green and black diver-inspired bezel. It even includes a screw-in battery hatch so you can experience a nearly forgotten process of changing your battery using pocket change.
