Speakers don't have to be nondescript rectangular boxes. Sonus Faber's Omnia packs outstanding sound into a sleek, display-worthy package. Inspired by the hull of a boat, its organic design features a wooden top panel in walnut or graphite, with touch-sensitive controls for mode, input, and volume. A four-way speaker setup includes a midrange driver, a woofer, silk done tweeters, and a wide-range driver, with 490 Watts of power for room-filling sound. It offers physical inputs in the form of a two-channel ARC-compatible HDMI port, Ethernet, and an analog input with a built-in phono stage for connecting to a turntable. It also has Bluetooth with aptX HD, and WiFi with support for most popular streaming formats. No matter what the source, an advanced signal processing system called Crescendo ensures everything sounds its best.
