Completed in 1951, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House remains one of the most significant examples of international style and continues to be a source of inspiration for design enthusiasts. This model reimagines the renowned architectural masterpiece on a 1:150 scale. The kit builds the steel and glass structure's linear lines in Aspen wood and uses acrylic to create the signature transparent walls. Its interior is furnished with a fireplace and cabinets made from American cherry, while the red-toned hardwood also brings back to life the original sugar maple tree in the front yard. The model is suitable for intermediate builders and takes about 5 hours to complete.
